Logistics

Storage, supplier contracts, routes and freight. None of it is needed for your first sale — but once you run more than one business, logistics is what stops stock sitting still and starts the same goods earning twice.

Warehouses and storage

Every business holds stock, but storage is a separate number: how many units the business can keep before a delivery is refused. Warehouses are the businesses that raise it, and they raise it per level — so a warehouse is a purchase that makes every other business you own able to hold more.

  • Warehouse

60 units at level 1, plus 40 per level after that, up to level 6.

  • Produce Wholesaler

40 units at level 1, plus 20 per level after that, up to level 6.

  • Food Distributor

40 units at level 1, plus 20 per level after that, up to level 6.

  • General-goods Distributor

50 units at level 1, plus 20 per level after that, up to level 6.

  • Cold Storage

100 units at level 1, plus 40 per level after that, up to level 6.

Standing supplier orders

A standing order restocks the same input on a timer, at a price below the spot price, and takes the cash automatically. You can run 3 at once — more if you run the businesses that add supplier slots.

Bulk discount by order size
Order sizeDiscount
10 units8% off
25 units12% off
50 units18% off
200 units18% off

Cadence: 1 min, 2 min, 5 min. Orders between 10 and 200 units; larger orders and a higher warehouse level both improve the discount.

Extra contract slots: Produce Wholesaler (+1), Food Distributor (+1), General-goods Distributor (+1), Cold Storage (+2).

Routes and deliveries

The town has 6 places — Riverside, Old Town, Harbour, Market Sq., Hillcrest, Mill Lane — and a route always ends somewhere other than where it started, so distance is a real number rather than a label. A delivery pays for that distance and for hitting its deadline.

Distance rate
$0.08 per km, before the contract fee.
Fee on a shipment
8% of the load, with a $0.50 minimum.
Deadline
2 min plus 45s per km, capped at 15 min.
Who can carry
Delivery, Haulage Operator.

Missing a deadline and a low reliability rating cost you the next contract. Delivering on time builds the rating that gets you the better ones.

Freight

Heavier loads are carried by the haulage businesses, and their contracts pay a premium on the same board rather than a different game: Haulage Operator (+35%).

Freight is also how other players’ stock moves. Every shipment you carry is somebody else’s supply chain finishing on time.

None of this is step one

Open a business, sell something, then come back when stock is the bottleneck.
